Our Roots
In 1993, Kate White Graham founded what would become Midwest Safety Partners with a simple goal: to help people save lives through quality CPR, BLS, and first aid training.
Kimberly Bramley and Keith Rippy purchased the company from Kate in 2024, introducing the MSP brand and taking our mission even further. While a lot has changed over the years, one thing remains the same—our commitment to creating safer workplaces and communities through expert, approachable safety training.

Keith Rippy
Keith Rippy has dedicated his career to ensuring community safety and emergency response. With 20 years in law enforcement—culminating in his role as a police chief—and later as CEO of Area Ambulance in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Keith brings unmatched expertise to MSP. His hands-on experience in safety and response drives his passion for delivering high-quality training to organizations.
Kimberly Bramley
A seasoned entrepreneur and natural communicator, Kimberly Bramley excels in creating engaging, impactful training experiences. Her ability to listen and understand ensures that every class is personally valuable for learners. Kimberly’s leadership emphasizes empowerment, making MSP a trusted partner for safety training.
Our Instructors
Deb Fitzgerald
Deb is BLS certified to teach CPR and First Aid. She also holds degrees in Business Management and Accounting from Mount Mercy. Her personalized teaching style incorporates a bit of humor that allows everyone to relate and feel comfortable while they learn.
Joan Fishburn
With 44 years of experience as a Registered LPN and AHS instructor, Joan Fishburn has dedicated her life to helping others. Inspired by personal family challenges with heart and lung issues, Joan’s passion for lifesaving education is evident in every class she teaches.
Pat O’Donnell, NP
Pat O’Donnell brings over 47 years of nursing experience to MSP. As a Nurse Practitioner since 2012 and an ACLS instructor, Pat empowers individuals to face emergencies with confidence and knowledge. Her dedication to service shines through in every training session.
Tanner Wilson
Tanner Wilson, a Critical Care Paramedic with a decade of emergency medicine experience, is an accomplished ACLS and PALS instructor. His real-world expertise equips learners with practical skills and confidence to respond to emergencies effectively.
Cindy Becker
My name is Cindy. I have been CPR & First Aid certified for 33 years and have been a HeartSaver Instructor for 4 years. I enjoy teaching CPR and First Aid because my hope is that if someone has the proper experience or confidence to do something in the event of a cardiac emergency, that a life might be saved. I specialize in teaching CPR and First Aid to childcare workers and appreciate the work that they do!
